Betsey Johnson's gold cutout 'Florence' wedges

I was firmly on the fence about the current trend for cutout wedges until I found these ones by Betsey Johnson. To be completely honest, I think my appreciation of these shoes has more to do with that lovely metallic print suede than it does with the open cork wedge. The texture of the uppers gives these shoes a really interesting look, and, of course, a bow always helps (or it does if you're me, anyway). These also come in silver, but I think the gold are a touch more striking. They'll set you back £200.

Minus the bow, these are one of the few pairs of wedges that I find extremely nice. I think it's the cutout cork wedge that's so much nicer than most other wedge shoes.
