The phrase "strappy sandals" used to convey images of spindly heels and slim straps, but the current generation of strappy sandals are anything but - and are a lot more comfortable too. These ones are Boutique 9's 'Shiala' sandals, and the combination of crossover straps, patent leather and buckles makes them look simultaneously dressy and a little bit tough. They're $130, which seems like a reasonable price for a pair of shoes that will work with so many different outfits.
