Classic Vivienne Westwood styles now available in plastic
The trend for jelly shoes has surely reached fever pitch now that Dame Viv has announced she is to re-release some of her classic shoe styles - in plastic.
The classic VW toe shoe, first presented in the 'Summertime' collection of A/W00 and traditionally offered in leather, is to be introduced in a new plastic edition in a choice of vibrant colours such as red, fuchsia, navy blue, green, besides classic beige, latex, and black and white. But best of all, we're told the range will carry an 'affordable' price tag. Knowing the sheer joy afforded by a pair of VW shoes, I say bring on the plastic! [Via Hippyshopper]
