It's a 'High Street Vs Designer' feature, so it stands to reason that Steve Madden would be involved! This time Mr Madden has looked for "inspiration" from one of the most recognisable shoes of recent times - Balenciaga's famous 'lego' shoes, shown on the right of the picture above. The Steve Madden versions are $99.95, and are available in white, tan and black, as well as the multi colourway shown above. Not being a fan of the originals, I'm not tempted by these ones either, but what do you think? Has Steve Madden finally gone too far?

This has always been a shoe for a certain type of girl. I'm sure those girls are thrilled to get their not-rich hands on some approximation, but like you, I'm not tempted.
I wasn't a fan of the original either, but I still think Steve Madden shouldn't have copied it. The man is shameless. He didn't "finally go too far"... he's been going too far for a long time now if you ask me.
The white, tan, and black MAY BE alright to look at, but they seem to "clunky" and big. And as for the multi-coloured mess of a shoe - not a huge fan of them.
Mulitcolored mess of a shoe!!! Finally affordable!!! So electroclash! I can't wait to get my pair!!!
where can i get a pair????
