I'm not sure quite what it is about shoes which have a contrasting coloured platform sole, but I'm a complete sucker for them. These tortoise 'Diane' platforms by Hollywould make themselves even more desirable by using a shiny gold for the sole and a tortoiseshell upper. Tortoiseshell was fairly popular about a year or so ago, but it's becoming less common again now, so these make a nice difference from all of the other platforms around at the moment, although I would personally have preferred an almond toe rather than a square one. They're $495.
