Even although I know low heels often make sense, I find it hard to force myself to buy them because - whisper it - they can be just a tad boring. These 'Duchess' courts by Shellys, though, have attracted my attention, not just for the vivid green colour, but for the perforated leather, criss-cross design and gold piping, which makes a little more interesting than the usual suspects. These would actually make a great alternative to flats - I tend to find a small heel is more comfortable than a completely flat sole, and although these are expensive at £60, I think they're rather eye-catching. They're also available in black, but both colours were in very low stock when last I checked, so you may have to visit the store in person if you want to buy some.
