Shellys zip front high sandal
This season, if it's got a zip on it, it's always going to be right (well, most of the time anyway). Accessories, and shoes especially, are toughening up. Studs, killer stiletto heels, platforms and zips give them a hard edge, which contrast nicely with the girly, floral and frilly frocks of spring.
These Shellys leather sandals aren't too full-on for a first foray into this tough-girl look, but the zip and cut-out effect are enough to give off the right don't-mess-with-me vibe. They're £55 from asos.com.
