Ugly Shoe of the Week: Maison Martin Margiela's tabi flats

Quite apart from the fact that I firmly believe only the devil and certain four legged-animals should have cloven hooves (actually, make that any kind of hooves), let's look at these Maison Martin Margiela shoes rationally. Now, my first thought was, "Damn, but those look uncomfortable," but thinking about it, flip flops separate the toes too, and flip flops are some of the most comfortable shoes I own, so it is just possible that these may actually be more comfortable than they look. Unfortunately, though, that doesn't change the fact that they're ugly, does it? And, more importantly: they're ugly and they're $770, which makes them a fine contender for Ugly Shoe of the Week...
