Would you wear a car shoe?

carshoes.jpgHow much do you love Opel's Agila mini car? If it's a lot, then for times when the traffic is bumper to bumper, then perhaps you could slip into the shoe version of the car. They're created by Luca Stappers and unveiled at Amsterdam's Shoebaloo shoe shop earlier this month. No word on how much they retail for, but since they're not much of a looker, I can't see there being much demand for them. Though if they happened to design a shoe that looked like your ideal car, what would it be?

God, they are hideous. They look like that cake in the shape of a car from the Skoda advert. Only worse.

I'm all for adding a little "quirky" to a pair of shoes, but these are utterly ridiculous. Remove the heel and make them flats, and I can *maybe* see them worn by a child, but there's no way I'd ever disgrace my feet by putting on these monstrosities!
