Yay or Nay Wednesday
Last week's shoes got a big fat 'Nay' from most of you, with the word "lego" being used - quite correctly, I think - to describe them. They were by Irregular Choice and if you were one of the ones who thought you could make them work, you can buy them at Schuh,.
This week we're addressing the issue of shoes and flowers, as shown with the stiletto peep toes above. Flowers are used all the time to jazz up peep toes, of course, but they're generally on the toe, and there's normally only one of them, so what do you think of these shoes, which use a whole bunch of flowers on the heel? Too much to bear, do you think, or just too lovely for words?

Nay as they stand, but maybe if the flower was smaller then they would be quite cute!

Yay - good colour and I really like the flower. Good for weddings or posh dos if worn with something simple. They'd be even better with a covered platform sole!

Yay, I love them, am seriously considering them for my wedding!

I prefer them on the heel than the toe. Looks more elegant to me. Yay!

Oh, they are DEFINITELY a Yay. I don't think I've ever voted in Yay or Nay Wednesday before, but I had to this time around, because those shoes! I covet them! Where can you find them online?

YAY! Love them! The colour is gorgeous, the heel is fab, and I do love the flowers - they really spice up these shoes! If the flowers were any bigger I think it would be too much, but they're just right the way they are.
Yay yay yay!

Well... they are pretty, no doubt, but I have an idea that they would make my ankles look fat. I guess then it's a Yay for all those blessed with slim ankles and a Nay from the 'cankle' girls.

My first instinct was nay simply because the flowers are so large. But, what's not to like? The shoes are really, really pretty. Gorgeous color. Nice heel, love the peep toe. I've got to go YAY! They probably cost a small fortune though.

At first I thought "no way, total NAY" for how much they just screamed wedding, prom, frosted hair, bad champagne, but then, on second glance, they are giving me flamenco, lusty tango twirls, very sexy and cha-cha-cha. I relent...their femininity has captured me. YAY. But I would wear them with a black flamenco dress or else I'd feel too prom.

YAY - these would be great with a solid coloured cocktail dress.

Nay. They're much too attention-grabbing for me.

At another time, I might say "nay", but in the wake of the upcoming Sex and the City movie with its flashy shoes and over the top corsages, I think these shoes warrant a Yay for being at the right place at the right time.

nay. pretty but not wearable.

A gorgeous yay! I LOVE the color, the heel and peep toe, and the flower adds drama and a touch of unexpected flair when teamed with a more casual outfit (I'm feeling a pair of black cafe capris...).

Hack off that ankle strap and we're in business.

While these a very lovely shoe to look at I reluctantly say nay. The last thing I want to draw attention to are my "cankles". I think I'll stick with roses on my toes-es...LOL
