Attempts to add high heels to casual, canvas shoes don't always go down too well - there's something just wrong about seeing what is essentially a sneaker with a huge wedge stuck to the bottom of it, so I was surprised to find myself not quite hating these ones by Alberta Ferrretti. No, I don't think I'd be willing to pay $575 for pair (In fact, I can't imagine parting with that sum of money for anything made out of canvas), but I do think they could look rather good, in a casual kind of way - one someone else, natch. If you agree, and you have just the sporty/preppy outfit to go with them, you'll find them at eLuxury.
