Yay or Nay Wednesday
Last week's shoes didn't make a lot of impact on you, with the majority of you ending up giving them a 'Nay', despite quite liking some aspects of the shoes. They were Type z's Chloi shoes, and if you liked them, you'll find them at Zappos for $95.
There would be absolutely no point in me trying to hide the identity of this week's shoes, so I may as well just tell you that they're pink patent Dr Martens, which you can currently find at ASOS for £60. What I really want to know, though, is what you think of them. Clearly the likes of Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe have been helping bring the Doc Marten boot back into fashion over the past few months, but are you pleased to see them return, or would you rather they'd just left them where they were? Vote Yay or Nay, and don't forget to tell us why!
[Don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Hippy Shopper, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, Shoewawa and Shiny Shiny too!]

I never stopped wearing mine!
Yay in general but I'm not sure about the patent pink.

I love Docs, but hate most things pink...so yay to the boots in general, but most definitely not that color. If it was green or blue, definitely yay

Yay, Yay, Yay!
These are certainly not for everyone and not for every occasion but Doc's has always come up with some funky and cute options for the boot wearing crowd.
PS...it's kinda scary seeing Sketchers banner ads on your wonderful site pushing dirty nasty crocks! Shame on them. ;P

NAY!!! NAY!!! NAY!!! I didn't like them back then and I don't like them now- they are not feminine or flattering in the slightest!

After all the platform shoes these DM's are refreshing, and versatile. Serviceable in black but great in pink, good in white.

Unfortunately, Nay. I used to wear and love Doc Martins (in the late 80s/early 90s), and I quite liked the big bumpy steel toe-capped ones, but the shape of these aren't as nice. I wouldn't ever wear them now - especially not these dayglo ones. I can see the appeal for younger kids though.

I'm not a fan boots, period. That they're Doc Martens....big deal. Pretty in pink? No, rather ghastly, actually. NAY!!!

Love the look, but Docs made in the last few years are such terrible quality; made to look, not to last! (Not to mention I look terrible in ankle boots without heels; I need at least fourteen holes high.) I keep my eye out in thrift stores for the old makes that haven't been overworn, and so far I've been atrociously lucky—finding them in black only, though. I'd love some taller ones in this pink.

To Docs in general: YAY!
To the patent pepto pink: NAY!!

Docs were very big when I was in high school which is when a girl can get away with wearing combat boots and her favortie flannel shirt her boyfriend gave her with some black tights.
Now that I am a 30 year old 5 foot tall professional not so much. Manolos for me
