I'm really enjoying the current trend for sandals like these ones, which are high and strappy, but with none of the "girliness" normally associated with high, strappy sandals! They're by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and doesn't that beige leather look gorgeous? The grossgrain straps help toughen them up just a little, and I think they'd be the perfect way to balance out a floaty summer dress. They're £240 at My-Wardrobe, who point out that the slightly sporty look will make it easy to wear these during the day as well as in the evening.
