Christian Louboutin Ibiza blue canvas espadrilles

What I love about these Louboutin espadrilles (apart from the insane height they will give me!) is the inventive ruched ribbon detailing along the vamp of the shoe, which then threads through the sides towards the back, creating ankle ties. So beachy and so, so cool.

By the way, when I say insane height, I'm not joking. These espadrilles measure in with a 4.5" wedge heel on top of a 1.5" platform - you might find yourself learning how to walk all over again!

At Bluefly's price of $264 (down from $330 they retail for), they're not the cheapest espadrilles around. But they're good value for Louboutins - and they even have the signature red sole!

I tried these on at Barney's last year. Unfortunately they were very uncomfortable, which I wasn't at all prepared for since espadrilles, even high ones, are usually pretty easy to wear.

I ended up with some super hot Prada's instead so I wasn't too heartbroken.
