Joy Chen's 'Vera' court shoes would probably have completely escaped my attention, were it not for that cute little button detail on the vamp. Once it had drawn me in, the linen/raffia mix of the uppers intrigued me enough that I spent more time looking at these shoes than would generally be the case with a pair of low heeled shoes - for me it's normally a case of "all or nothing", so a shoe's got to be either totally flat or have the highest of heels for me to love it.
I wouldn't say I "love" these shoes exactly, but I do think they're something slightly different, and the unusual materials makes me think they'd be nice and cool for summer. They're $169 at Zappos, but what do you think of them?
