LK Bennett's 'Akira' - the shoe that inspired the Chelsea Flower Show 2008 garden

lk-bennet-flower-shoe.jpgI'm sure lots of us like the combination of shoes and flowers, but LK Bennett liked it so much they hired celebrity gardener Rachel de Thame to create a garden based on one of their shoes. That shoe was the 'Akira' court shoe shown here: if you want to see the garden, however, you'll have to visit the 2008 Chelsea Flower Show, which starts today in London. The shoe, meanwhile, is a limited edition, which you'll be able to buy online and in LK Bennett stores during May only. It'll cost you £169.99 and, dare I say it, would be the perfect choice of footwear if you're planning to visit the Chelsea flower show!
