New York Magazine finds out what men think of women's shoes

Most women know that there are some aspects of fashion that men just don't get. In this video, New York magazine takes to the streets to ask men what they think of some of this Spring's shoe styles (some of which I don't necessarily "get" either, it has to be said. Yes, Prada, I'm talking about you again...). Warning: some bad language from the gentlemen in this one, mostly when they're told the price of the shoes!

Mildly interesting I suppose, but frankly, I'm just one of those people who don't give a rat's patootie what "teh menz" think of women's shoes!! And that's the truth! :P It's stuff like this that perpetuate sexist stereotypes, and I'm not having any of it.

Besides, when was the last time you heard about anyone polling women on what they think of men's fashion, anyways? ;)

Hysterical! I want to meet these men at different times wearing all of these shoes just to see what their reactions would be. I love how disturbed they are by the Prada heels!
Not like women's fashion has anything to do with the opinion of men anyway...

I would have loved to see the same questions asked of some gentlemen in a different area, like wallstreet. I'm sure the prices wouldn't be shocking, but I'd be interested in more opinions like these.

sexist stereotypes? Like what? I liked the variety of opinions. and totally agree with the WTF for the neon stripper shoes.

If you need someone to explain "sexist stereotypes" to you Helen, then you likely won't understand what it means anyways. Just remember that women's fashion choices - or ANY choices, for that matter - have (or SHOULD have) absolutely nothing to do with "making menz happy" in any way, whether it be to look "hot and sexy" or to spend as little money on one's self as possible. Too many women think their number one priority is to "please men" in some way, and frankly, it's a load of hogwash and shouldn't be anywhere near the top of anyone's priority list!! Make YOURSELF happy, that's all that matters.
