Patrizia Pepe Flat Plaited Cross Ankle Sandal

How mean is that sun?? It popped its shining face out from behind the clouds for a few days last week and fooled us into thinking summer was well and truly on the way. We scrubbed, we polished, we fake tanned our limbs - and prepared ourselves for the sandals and heels we've been looking forward to wearing all year. But then, just as quickly as it arrived, its disappeared again. And we've been left to cram our toes back into those woolly socks and leather boots (boo hoo).

So, I'm hoping that if I buy more sandals, like these fab Patrizia Pepe flats (£195 from ASOS) which have a plaited ankle strap and bolt of colour, the sun will get the hint and make a very welcome return...
