Paul Smith's signature colourful stripes still scream late '90s to me but I think I can overcome my fashion snobbery for these ballet-inspired flats (£160). The green colour is absolutely lush and the patent finish gives it extra oomph. They have an appealing pointe toe ballet detail and and the elasticated edge means you can easily slip them in your bag for standby.
