Terra Plana gets a taste for spaghetti

terra plana shoe.jpgTerra Plana, eco shoe pioneer and Observer magazine's 'ethical fashion product of the year', has taken an interesting design twist for its summer '08 range: the stylish Aquila shoe manages to be both impossibly strappy and comfortable at the same time.

I had to be surgically removed from my Terra Plana shoes at the end of last summer, because the quality fit and wearability is like nothing else. If you're someone who doesn't usually get on with sandals, I would definitely recommend this new style, which will defy all you think you know about strappy shoes. And for those who prefer less of a heel, there's a cool flat version, too. Both styles are £90
