Yay or Nay Wednesday Tuesday

(Edit: this post was meant to appear tomorrow but got published today by mistake - sorry for the confusion!)

Last week's shoe was an interesting one: it had an overwhelmingly positive response from almost all of you, with those who gave it a 'Nay' voting that way because of the identity of the designer, who was none other than Paris Hilton.

This week we're not telling you who designed the shoe in question, although some of you will probably recognise it. What we want to know, though, is what you think of it. Is that patent-and-platform combination for you, or will you give these shoes a 'Nay' regardless of who designed them? Vote Yay or Nay and don't forget to tell us why!

[Don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Hippy Shopper, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, Shoewawa and Shiny Shiny too!]

Too stumpy-looking for my taste. I don't like black patent anyway. NAY!

Yucky icky, Nay. The hideous platform, the gaudy patent sandal-style upper? Blech! They look horrid in that picture, and I'm betting they'd look even worse on an actual foot!

Tried a similar version at River Island. Yay for kinky 90s sex. Nay for normal days.

This shoe screams "goat hooves" to me, and I really wish I didn't know why--but I do. The natural-colored sole is so 1994 en vogue with the black patent, and the slashing in the front has this cloven look to it that is really, really undesirable. It's like the shoe is trying to be chunky and lithe at the same time, and it's just not working. At all.

I have these by Faith with the black platform and heel. Are these from Faith too? I don't like the natural soled version, but I love my black ones - especially since I get them for half the price from ebay!! (smugness)
