Why not add springs to United Nude Eamz shoes for bouncy steps?

This tutorial gives you full instructions on modifying the shoe (or sandal, or boot) by adding a spring to the heel, presumably allowing you to leap down Oxford Street in a single bound! Ok., maybe not quite, but you get the idea. This could either be a really good energy saving idea, or it could be a sprained ankle waiting to happen. You decide.
