Is it just me, or have Dorothy Perkins picked up their game lately in the shoe department? These cross strap wedges, for instance, are only £28, but they have the look of a more expensive shoe, and OK, they're not real leather, but they do look rather classy. I like the way the straps cross over low down on the foot rather than near the ankle: that should help to create the illusion of a longer leg, and I guess most of us wouldn't say no to that, would we?
I always think brown sandals are great for the warmer months, as they add a touch of class to even the most casual of outfits. These are also available in black and white, though, if you don't agree.
