Christian Dior's 'Cabaret' Mary Janes
I can see why Christian Dior decided to name these black suede and leather Mary Janes 'Cabaret'. They have the look of the kind of shoes you'd see on stage somewhere, with the shaped heel, cutaway section and leather straps helping to give them a bit of a theatrical look. With that said, these shoes aren't so over-the-top that you wouldn't be able to wear them in "real" life: quite the opposite, in fact, because this is a shoe which could take you almost anywhere. Sure, they're much more eye-catching and unusual than regular Mary Janes, but sometimes that has to be a good thing!
