These peep-toe heels from Dorothy Perkins seem to have been made for people who like the two-tone look, but don't quite want to go all the way with it.
The small strip of coral suede around the heel gives a nod to the style, while the rest of the shoe is a paler pink leather. Does it work? Personally I think I'd like to see a bit more of that lovely suede (another version has it all over) but if there's a home for tamer versions of this season's garish contrasting styles, it's got to be the high street. £35 at Dorothy Perkins
