Not-so-casual Friday: Vic Matie rose detail heels
These elegant slingbacks from Vic Matie would make great summer occasion-wear, and if you care about such things, I can't help noticing that they bear quite a striking resemblance to a far more expensive pair by Mario Bologna, too!
The 3.7cm heels don't lose in style what they add in comfort for being slightly chunky, and that's a big plus in a shoe you're likely to wear at weddings, parties and other events where you're expected to get up on your feet every so often to dance, applaud, toast, etc. Best of all, I can envisage wearing these shoes after the event, as the black stitching gives them a more lightweight quality you could easily dress down. £45 at Yoox
