They may just be a pair of black peep toe Mary Janes, but I think the execution of these Oscar de la Renta shoes makes them particularly worthy of notice. The little buckle on the low strap, plus the tortoiseshell heel don't sound like they'd make a whole lot of difference on paper, but on the shoe they add up to a really lovely design. The price tag, meanwhile, is not so lovely: these will set you back $725 and they're available from Neiman Marcus.
