If the Dolce & Gabanna and D&G lines are anything to go by for fall winter 2008/09, then tartan is back. Like most trends, don't embrace them like your long lost friend, but toy with them with accessories to accent your outfit. For a relatively cheap option (£39), I'm loving these ASOS Patchwork Platform Shoe. Made from contrasting metallic colours on a cute may jane, these platform pumps would look great all year round. Mind you, they almost remind me of these L.A.M.B.'s checkerboard 'Daly' stilettos or these - which are actually sold on ASOS, for about £200 more!
