I had to laugh when I saw these Candella Taddle Oxford shoes. Fringing on an Oxford shoe? Crazy. But then again, pair these with wide legged trousers, a crisp white shirt and you would have a rather chic outfit. Think Charlie Chapman - minus the bowler hat (that look has been done to leather, most recently by Keira Knightley in her Chanel Coco Mademoiselle ads). Like other classic Oxfords, these shoes feature perforated leather with fringed detail over the toungue. While they're not a shoe you can wear every day, they're a choice for days when your standard ballet flat or pumps just don't seem to do the trick.
