Glamour magazine's Stiletto Run has made its way to Moscow this month with the race taking place in Moscow's Red Square earlier this week. With the race dubbed a "80 meters on heels" race in heels no shorter than 9 cm, it was a run for the brave and those with a high pain threshold. As a twist, glamour was the key for the day with participants required to show up in cocktail wear to match their shoes before they were allowed to change into more suitable race wear in the later stages of qualifying process. Svetlana Martinova won the race and the grand prize - a £2,000 shopping spree in one of Moscow's shopping malls. Not bad for a few races, albeit in high heels. I wonder where the Stiletto Run will pop up next.
