Not So Casual Friday: Schuh's 'Poppy' court shoes
Given that shoes with bows are still inescapable right now, it makes a nice change to see a shoe that's at least trying to do something a little different with its bow. These 'Poppy' courts, by Schuh, for instance, are wearing theirs high up on the ankle strap rather than on the toe. The strap itself is an asymmetrical one, and the pewter colour provides the perfect finish. These shoes aren't so fancy you'll only ever be able to wear them for the most special of ocassions, but they're dressed up enough for a Friday night out and they're also available in a bright red patent.
