Top Five shoes from Solestruck.com
It's not often we find a great US-based shoe store that ships internationally, but Solestruck.com is that store. They carry brands like Steve Madden, Betsey Johnson, Rocket Dog, Jessica Simpson, Nina, Oh, Deer! and more, and new arrivals are added to the site constantly, making it well worth a look.
Here's our Top Five from Solestruck, starting off with these black patent platform pumps by Jessica Simpson . The classic black court is a shoe I think every woman should own, but the 4" heel and covered platform on these ones gives them a touch of sex appeal, too, which means you'd be able to wear them on an evening out as well as to work.
We've featured these shoes before at Shoewawa, but given that I now have a pair of my own (from Solestruck, who shipped amazingly-quickly to the UK), I thought I'd revisit them. These are much more amazing in person than they are in the picture, with a glittery heel which makes them look to me like the kind of shoes Dorothy would have worn to walk down the yellow brick road, had she not been to sold on red. They're Rocket Dog's 'Open Call', are $49.95 and available in gold or grey.
These 'Valyn' bow peep toes are a great summer shoe in Betsey Johnson's characteristic frothy style. They're available in black and red and are $94.95.
Oh, those ubiquitous gladiator sandals! Love 'em or hate 'em, they're still the summer's most popular style, and these ones by Dolce Vita are a good buy at $59.95.
Finally, every summer wardrobe needs a pair of wedges, and I think these bright 'PS I Love You' shoes by Seychelles fit the bill perfectly, with the polka dots giving them a bit of a reto feel and the woven sole making them super-summery. They're $79.95.
