Mirror embellished ankle boots by Giuseppe Zanotti
Wow. Well, if there was a prize for most dramatic use of a stiletto, I think Giuseppe Zanotti would probably win it, no? These mirror embellished ankle boots have what looks a lot like a stiletto shaped disco ball propping them up at the back, and a super-shiny patent finish at the front. "Shiny" doesn't even begin to describe them. These are £565 at Net-a-Porter and are definitely "special occasion only" boots - well, you wouldn't want to be trudging through rain or snow in them, would you? That's not going to make them the most versatile boots you'll ever own, but I somehow don't think practicality was what the designer had in mind here, do you?
