Office are very good at making what I think of as "talking point" shoes, and this is one of them. It's their 'Positive Thinker' court, which has a slightly witchy-looking pointed toe, plus a wide leather ankle strap that narrows at one end into a half bow. Something is preventing me from liking these shoes wholeheartedly, and I think it may be that toe: with a rounder or almond toe, I'd perhaps have liked them more, and I do appreciate the thick strap on the ankle, which makes the shoe look almost like an ankle boot when viewed from the side.
