Olympic swimming champ receives golden Jimmy Choos, as promised!
Rebecca Adlington, our swimming champion who scored two gold medals at the Olympics, took home another golden pair this week.
As we previously reported, the 19-year-old was promised a pair of Jimmy Choos if she won gold at Beijing. And so after winning both the 400km and 800km and smashing a world record, she finally got her wish. Back in her hometown of Mansfield, she was presented with a pair of sparkly gold Jimmy Choo strappy heels, worth £460, by the town mayor.
