The corsage on the ankle strap of these shoes is a detachable one, so if you don't like it you can just whip it right off. Personally, I wouldn't want to, because I think it's the detail that makes the shoe, but if you're no fan of flowers, or just don't want to make your ankles look chunkier, the fact that you don't have to wear it will probably appeal.

Once it's removed, you're left with a classic evening shoe, which comes in black or teal, and is nicely priced at just £30. Get them from Dorothy Perkins.
