Lots of last winter's footwear trends seem to have stuck around for this season, and ankle boots are definitely one of them. Not that ankle boots can really be described as a "trend", mind you: we see them every winter, but more so last year than usual, and in a lot more inventive styles, too.
These ones from Dorothy Perkins are in a slouchy, ruched style that will look good with skinny jeans or trousers. They come in black and plum, and have a mid-height heel which should make them reasonably comfortable. They're £30.
