Not-so-Casual Friday: metallic platform 'Simple' pumps by Christian Louboutin
Friday night glamour doesn't have to mean strappy sandals and diamante, and just to prove it, here are Christian Louboutin's gold platform pumps, which are understated compared to many of the shoes we've featured in this column, but still dripping with classic glamour. The metallic leather uppers and slender heel don't sound like much on paper, but in real life these shoes will take you absolutely anywhere - although the 4.5" heel may make it more sensible to just call a cab. These are $695 at Saks.
