Topshop's platform 'Angie' ankle boots

Here's yet another example of the "massive platform" look that's taking over the shoe world at the moment, probably as a result of the 70s influence in fashion at the moment. These 'Angie' boots from Topshop do have a bit of a 70s vibe to them - just imagine them worn with a huge pair of flares! - but careful dressing will help you tone that vibe down if it's not exactly your cup of tea. Ultimately, though, these boots are always going to be the main focus of any outfit you try to wear them with, and something with a bit of a flare is probably a good idea with this size of platform or you'll just end up looking like you have very big feet. Not a look you'll want, I'm sure...
