If, like me, you're a fan of the quilted look as perfected by French Sole but are also five foot nothing, you might like this varation on the theme by Vic Matie that will give you that crucial bit of extra height. With a gently sloping platform, they're every bit as wearable as flats and if you're not into space-age silver, they're also available in patent black. I have to say I'm partial to the silver, which bears more than a passing ressemblance to the metallic Mouse shoes we all know and love. £74 at Yoox.
