If it wasn't for the steel toe caps, these would be my perfect ankle boots. And actually, given that the toe caps are rather small ones - I didn't even notice them at first glance - I could probably live with them, too. I wouldn't kick them out of the shoe cupboard on account of them, anyway, although the £815 price tag makes it highly unlikely that they'd be in there in the first place. Ah well, a girl can dream...
These are by Alexander McQueen, and the rows of buttons give them a smart, military look that's perfect for winter, while the elegant stiletto heel is sure to appeal to high heel fans. If only McQueen could've resisted the apparent lure of the steel toe cap...
