Now while I would never suggest Alaia shoes appeal to just anybody at the best of times (personally for me, they = love), you have to admit even the biggest Alaia thrill-seeker might call these ponyskin platforms a challenge.
Black, white and ponyskin all over, they have a sculptured wedge heel not unlike those Marc Jacobs' backward heels from last year, except... chunkier. If they aren't getting you noticed (are you serious!?) then the 5-and-a-half inch heel definitely will. They're £1025 from Browns.
