And he wasn't wrong, as sure enough I am suddenly seized by that very same urge. I'm going for shoe-boots this time, which I see as a sort of 'two for the price of one' deal, and in pole position just now are these lovely woven platform shoe-boots by KG at Kurt Geiger. They look enough like a shoe to work with skirts, and special enough to crack out for occasions, but with just enough boot-type structure to make those heels every-day wearable. £120 at ASOS
