Mary Jane Monday: Bertie's black patent 'Astonish' Mary Janes

Shoe Studio Group, the company behind Bertie, Nine West, Pied a Terre, etc, have just revamped their website, adding more brands and making it even more of a shoe-lover's dream than it was to start with. One of the first pairs of shoes to leap out at me when I looked at the new site this morning was these 'Astonish' Mary Janes by Bertie, which were just perfect for our Mary Jane Monday slot, so here they are!

These retain the classic shape of the high heeled Mary Jane, but replace the usual narrow strap with a wide, patent one. It's a nice twist on the style, with the covered buttons giving the shoes a bit of a vintage look which I like. These are £70.
