I've been admiring these pewter buckle sandals from Dorothy Perkins ever since they came into stock at the store, but somehow I neglected to write about them here, so I'm making up for that now. Although simple, there's just something very elegant about these shoes which appeals to me. They're very much the kind of shoe you'd wear on those nights when you want your outfit (or your hair, or your eyes, or, you know, something other than your shoes) to be the focus of attention, because they're pretty and stylish, but not so much that they'll be overwhelming. In other words, they're a great, shoe-staple for your wardrobe, at the excellent price of £30.
