River Island's platform over-the-knee boots
I happened to walk into the River Island shoe department last week (strictly for research purposes, you understand) just as a girl was trying on these boots in tan. "Wow," was my first thought. "Gimme!" was my second.
In the "flesh" these are absolutely gorgeous, and much classier than the picture suggests, and although I don't have a good enough excuse to wear them, if you do, they could be £149.99 well spent on a pair of boots that will last for years. I like them best in the tan, which doesn't seem to be available on the website yet, but which you should be able to find in-store.
