I'm currently obsessed with finding a sturdy, sensible pair of boots that will allow me to walk my dog in the freezing winter weather without necessarily looking like a homeless person. So far, these tan, calf-length cowboy boots from Dorothy Perkins seem to be fitting the bill quite nicely.
The heel is low enough to allow me to walk long-ish distances in comfort, but high enough to make sure my jeans won't drag along the pavement (or I could tuck them into the boots), and the boot itself looks like it'll last for years, getting better looking with more use.
