Antonio Berardi spills the beans on Victoria Beckham and his heel-less wonders
Antonio Berardi has given a little more insight into the effect Victoria Beckham had on those heel-less latex boots that she wore to the launch of her fragrance at Macy's in September (pictured, left).
"Victoria was promoting her new perfume and wanted something different to wear, she chose a great dress and knee-high latex no-heel boots (which I designed just for the hell of it) from the A/W '08 collection," he revealed to Grazia. "You would not believe the effect. Everyone wanted it. She's a designer's dream because she sells clothes!"

So how did she manage to walk in them? Berardi previously said: "They [the boots] are perfectly balanced. When the girls come for fittings, they look a bit daunted, but by the end they say it's just like wearing a regular shoe. They are graceful and there is a ballerina nature about them. Having a heel is really just psychological."
