Balenciaga black patent leather pumps

These Balenciaga pumps are a little deceptive at first glance, because unless you happen to be looking at the sole, they could pass for a regular pair of black heels. This is Balenciaga though, so these are no ordinary shoes: there's a super-pointy toe, for one thing, and then there's that platform, which is of the "doesn't fit the sole of the shoe" variety, making it look much more exaggerated than would otherwise be the case.

These are $552 at Bluefly, and the platform is rubber, so hopefully that, plus the fact that the toes are raised off the ground like that, will make them last longer than most pointy toed court shoes, too.
