These shoes and boots by Walter Steiger look like they stepped right out of a science fiction movie from the 1960s, and for that reason alone, their appeal probably won't be universal. I'm not sure I'd wear them myself, for instance, but I have had fun admiring them this afternoon, and with the right kind of outfit and attitude, they could look amazing. Or they could just look like ice-skates, you decide.
